PEG-MGF is a pegylated form of mechano growth factor, the 24-residue C-terminal E-domain peptide unique to the IGF-1Ec splice variant of insulin-like growth factor 1. The peptide is covalently conjugated to polyethylene glycol. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory reconstitution.
